ICC Russia Commission on Arbitration

ICC Russia Commission on International Arbitration, or Commission on Arbitration, was established in 2000 upon the initiative of members of the Russian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce – the World Business Organization, and is a sectoral expert commission of ICC Russia.

The Commission’s objectives are to enhance the development and wider application of relevant mechanisms of commercial arbitration, as well as to promote business dispute resolution in Russia in accordance with ICC rules. |

The Commission on Arbitration also acts as a professional forum for exchanging opinions and developing a consolidated standpoint of the Russian legal community on relevant issues of international arbitration. |

Companies that join ICC Russia are granted the right to nominate their employees to participate in the work of the ICC Russia Commission on Arbitration, as well as in all the areas of activity of the global ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR. |

The Commission on Arbitration and its task forces include a number of leading experts in international arbitration, among them are partners from international law firms currently working in Russia, corporate lawyers, professors from Russian law schools, as well as experts in international commercial dispute resolution. |
